Sharon Burack, founder of Freedom Home Care and resident of Highland Park, saw the need to provide seniors in the Chicagoland area with an opportunity to live happy and healthy lives within their own homes.  During the time, Burack had not known there was such a demand for in-home care services but 20 years later, she and the rest of the staff at Freedom Home Care are celebrating the company’s 20^th anniversary.
Within these 20 successful years, Freedom Home Care  opened their first location in Highland Park and now serve clients all over from Chicago’s lakeshore through Cook and Lake Counties, from Hinsdale to areas of Buffalo Grove and Barrington.
Through the help of over 1,000 professional, compassionate caregivers, Burack has big plans for Freedom Home Care in the New Year.  These plans include opening three new locations in 2017 including the first location to open in January 2017 in Lake Forest.  There are two more locations to still be chosen in the cities of Evanston and Hinsdale.   Freedom Home Care will also launch an online communication Client Wellness Tracking System, which offers families and caregivers an easy way to check-in daily with their loved ones.
