HIGHLAND PARK, IL (OCTOBER 2021) –Freedom Home Care makes it a top priority to
keep our clients, staff and community healthy. To continue this mission, we are hosting a
vaccination clinic on Monday, October 25th to offer the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID booster
vaccine. The shots will be administered in Highland Park and appointments will begin at
10:00am.
The CDC is endorsing booster shots for people 65 and older. In addition, it is available to those
18 to 64 with underlying health conditions or who live or work in a high-risk setting. Lastly, you
must have had the Pfizer shot originally to receive this booster.
If you qualify for the booster and wish to reserve an appointment, please RSVP to Talita Skopis
at tskopis@freedomhomecare.net by October 20th. You must provide your name, phone number
and the date you received your second shot. Once your RSVP is processed by our office, you
will receive a confirmation email with the time and location of your appointment as well as a
consent form. Please bring the form with you to your appointment.
Freedom Home Care and the COVID-19 Pandemic
Freedom Home Care has been proactive since the beginning of the pandemic in protecting its
staff, clients and the greater North Shore. Full PPE for staff was attained as early as March 2020.
Weekly PCR testing is still being held at the Highland Park office. There have been a few
vaccine clinics held to help expand the opportunities for the community to become vaccinated.
This however is the first booster shot clinic.
