Jenanne joined the team at Freedom Home Care in 2007. Jenanne has her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Marquette University. After college she spent 3 years working with an international non-profit organization on asset building and welfare reform for low income individuals and families. During this time she was involved in establishing standards and creating growth in the asset building field as well as assisting to develop training for programs at the community level. Most recently Jenanne transitioned into the health care field after working for an orthopedic physician office as a marketing coordinator. She has also worked to increase census as an Admissions Director at a local skilled nursing facility. Jenanne has joined the team at Freedom Home Care to assist in marketing and system development for the agency.
Director of Office Operations Manager / Staffing
Patti has been in health care for the past 15 years. She began her career with Dunn & Bradstreet, working with small group health insurance carriers and agents, and was frequently recognized for customer service excellence. Patti spent the next 8 years in an administrative position with a leading rehabilitation staffing organization. In 2002, she joined Freedom Home Care, and was recently promoted to her current role as manager of our corporate office operations which also includes staffing cases and managing inquiries.
Client Services Director
Linnea has been working in health care for the past 5 years. Linnea graduated from Aurora University in 2006 with a degree in psychology. She began working at Manor Care Health Services in Admissions/Marketing. She then joined the Freedom Home Care team in 2008. Linnea is who will accompany all employees to their first interview with the clients. She also manages all the home assessments, and the home visits. She is responsible for visiting our clients on a regular basis in order to manage our clients’ needs, progress, and expectations.
Director of Business Development
Francine has been working with seniors in the healthcare industry for over 13 years. Francine received a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology with an emphasis on Gerontology at The Ohio State University. After college she worked in Independent / Assisted Living communities and Skilled Nursing Facilities. Francine’s responsibilities at Freedom Home Care will include marketing to the community at large, partnering with physicians, case managers, long term care agents and local organizations.
Lola Rivera, RN
Lola has been a registered nurse for 10 years; she currently works at Lutheran General Hospital in the operating room. She joined Freedom Home Care about a year ago and she assists with completing client home visits and assessing clients that are more medically complex. In addition Lola assists in developing caregiver education and training evaluations.
Vice President of Business Development
Jacqueline joined Freedom Home Care in 2009. She received her bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Jacqueline’s responsibilities at Freedom Home Care include all aspects of business development: marketing, fostering community and client relations through networking events, physician & social service department presentations and a focus on fueling continued growth by strengthening relationships in the Chicagoland community.
Renata joined the Freedom Home Care team in 2010 assisting with staffing, hiring processes and accounting. Renata’s previous experience was in Europe working as a pediatric nurse for three years followed by fives years as an administrative assistant and account helper.
Sabrina is a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) and has been in the health care field since 2007. She joined Freedom Home Care in 2008 as a C.N.A for our clients and has since joined the management team as of March 2011 as a staffing coordinator.
Louise S Kenny
Louise Kenny, OTR/L has practiced as an Occupational Therapist for over 35 years. Her experience includes provision of therapy services to a large number of patients experiencing different disabilities related to a wide variety of diagnosis. Her practice settings have included: hospital inpatient medical/surgical, ortho, rehab, burn unit and hand injuries, as well as Home Health and Hospice. She received Certification in Geriatrics for Non Physicians from the University of Illinois Extension Program and completed the National Home Builder’s Association CAPS Program to become a Certified Aging in Place Specialist.
Her role at Freedom Home Care is to provide the highest level of private duty home care to those who require varying amounts of assistance and companionship to maintain their quality of life. After a thorough assessment of the client’s abilities and challenges (both physically and cognitively) as well as environmental safety issues, she creates and implements a Plan of Care . The assigned caregiver will then use this plan to keep the client safely engaged in as many activities of daily living as possible. Louise provides caregiver supervision and ongoing training to insure that the clients needs will continue to be met as conditions change.
As part of the Freedom team, she also performs Home Safety Assessments (with suggestions for modifications), Fall Risk Assessments (with strategies to reduce the incidence of falls), Family /caregiver consultation (to provide recommendations to maintain client dignity, independence and safe participation in Activities of Daily Living).
Marina Krasnopolskaya, RN
Marina Krasnopolskaya is a Registered Nurse with 25 years of clinical experience in the Hospital and Home Care Setings. She is also a certified yoga instructor that has trained with the top teachers in Chicago such as Gabriel Halpern, Kathleen Right, and Leslie Riley. With her combined knowledge of holistic health and western medicine, Marina’s goal is to bring her clinical knowledge and integrative approach to empower people health and personal growth. She is interested in the therapeutically aspect of yoga and how to use it to help people after surgery or teaching to seniors and people with respiratory and cardiac problem.
In addition to her yoga experience, Marina is also certified in Thai Massage and Hypnotherapy. She combines the knowledge from these courses to improve the lives of her patients.
In her personal life, Marina is a Mother of two children and a wife to her husband, Mikhail. She has been a vegetarian for over 15 years and makes sure to practice what she preaches, a healthy lifestyle.
Georgina Slowinski, RN
Georgina is a registered nurse, and she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2006. Georgina worked as a Staff Nurse in the Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units at Lincoln Park Hospital, where she often took on the duties of Daily Charge Nurse. This clinical experience continually developed leadership and interpersonal skills and lead her to pursue at career in Home Health Care. She joined the Freedom Home Care Team in October 2011 where she has been able to focus on individual client assessments and medication management.
Heather Sutherland, CNA
Heather is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and has been working in the health care field since 2008. She graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Family Services in 2011. She joined Freedom Home Care in 2012. Her role at Freedom is staffing, hiring and processing client insurance.
