Local Halloween Themed Activities for Seniors

Join in the Halloween festivities this year! There are plenty of creative and accessible crafts and activities to do from home or out in the Highland Park area.

Halloween Is Just Around the Corner

Crafts are a way to celebrate Halloween from home or with friends. Decorate pumpkins, make decorative spider webs, make spiral ghosts, make spooky candles, decorative Halloween garlands. If food is more up your alley, then make a seasonal cider or deviled eggs. An activity to get a group involved is by playing Halloween charades, by sharing scary stories, by making a homemade costume contest, by trick or treating in your neighborhood, or by watching a horror movie marathon. These are just a few ideas to stay involved this holiday season. There will be an official Trick or Treating on October 31 from 3:30-7pm in Highland Park. Just remember to stay on the sidewalk and stay safe by using a flashlight. All are welcome to participate. Make sure to bring your best costume!

Mini Golf Fun

There are several events in the Highland Park area to enjoy this Halloween season. October 28th through October 30th there will be Halloween Mini Golf. The movie will be Hocus Pocus and it starts at 6:30pm on Thursday, October 28th. Tickets must be purchased in advance. View the movie from inside your car or bring chairs to sit outside your car.
