Paws For Patrick In Highland Park

What is Paws For Patrick?

Paws for Patrick is a local organization that was created for young people with mental health concerns. It raises money to help with its mission, which involves emotional support animals and training them. These animals are provided to those who need them, either in the form of ownership or just seeing them while in therapy or various other safe settings.

Turn Our Towns Green

In May, over 22 communities, led by Paws For Patrick, collected donations and put up signs or ribbons all over in solidarity with Mental Health Awareness Month. Schools, businesses, and homes all showed their support. Ribbons and signs were everywhere this month, it was an incredible show of support!

Who Went Green in Highland Park?

Green ribbons were tied to trees around downtown Highland Park. One of the groups who participated was Highland Park Athletics 13U team. This baseball team had a lot of fun contributing to an important month for people across the country.
