In an effort to give back to the community, we will be taking part in a food drive for the Moraine Township Food Pantry. We ask that anyone who has any extra food goods drop them off at one of the donation bins we have listed down below. For a cause like this, no amount is too little to make a difference. Thank you in advance to all the generous members of our Chicagoland communities!

Who

This food drive is a collaboration between Freedom Home Care, The Auberge At Highland Park, and the Moraine Township Food Pantry.

When

This particular food drive will be from October 3rd until November 1st. After that, make sure to keep an eye out for more food drives and other charitable efforts to come!

Where

There will be 3 main bins you can drop donations to. The first is our Highland Park office. The second is our Lake Forest office. The third bin will be at The Auberge.

What

The Moraine Township Food Pantry accepts many different types of foods. Such as: canned goods, shelf stable foods, produce, eggs, cheese, meat, baked goods, condiments, oils, beans, and soups or stews.

They also have a list of items they are looking for the most: pasta, spaghetti sauce, canned chicken / salmon / tuna, crackers, cereal, jelly / jam, and salad dressings (italian & ranch).

Any Bit Helps

When it comes to donating, anything you can spare will greatly help someone who needs it. Freedom Home Care prides itself on serving Highland Park and all the surrounding communities in the Chicago and North Shore area, whether through events like this or our day to day home care services.
